  • Multi use state management area. Multiple trails and dirt roads, and a great route to the CT-RI-MA tri-state marker. Pretty empty and remote feeling. Small parking lot on Buck Hill road. No public facilities. Hunting in season (end of September through January 31). Use appropriate caution during those times. Includes some wetland areas, can be extremely buggy in late Spring/early summer. North/South trail goes through eastern part of the area.
  • Really nice. Good for calming the nerves
  • Douglas State Forest Park at the dirt parking lot at top of hill when you drive in. Wear orange during hunting season. Dirt service roads whith plenty of trails to hike. Entrance is abt 1 mile down buckhill road from north /south trail. If you get maps for Douglas State Forest you can hike through there too for a long hike.
  • Trails could be better marked, generally easy hikes
  • Ok as a hiking trail but signs are hidden to find it, very scary once you start walking in, motorbikes came through the same small trail and we had to jump out of the way because they did not see us.
