  • We had a large private party enjoying the mini-golf course. This is a beautiful spot and should have been a lot of fun for everyone. We drove up to the "Wheelchair accessible" parking spots to find a ...  read more »
  • We just played here twice with 4 groups. Course was in good shape and greens were running fast. I really enjoyed the big 600 yard par 5 heading down the hill towards the river. I hit driver, 3 hybrid ...  read more »
  • I've played here approximately 6-8 times and have never been disappointed. The course is fantastic with incredible views! It's really nice also, to finish your round and already be at your hotel. It's...  read more »
  • Awful accommodations... Our family, (my husband and I and 4 children and my sister, brother in law and their 2 girls) stayed in one of the 4 bedroom casitas for a week. When we arrived, the carpet was terribly stained and we were told my the management that was because they had a lot of bachelor parties and they were working on changing out the carpets. This was only the beginning of the issues, we soon discovered there was no screen on the sliding glass door which in this area is crazy as there are bugs everywhere, the dishwasher did not clean dishes, neither of the shower curtains had been cleaned since the last time another visitor was there, the handle on the sliding glass door broke the second day we were there, the beds were so uncomfortable that we woke up stiff every morning and the pillows were so bad my brother in law went to Costco to purchase new ones so we could make it through the week and last but not least the pool was freezing and the jacuzzi was broken the entire time we were there. We had been told by several friends over the years how nice Desert Canyon was, but we were sorely disappointed and though the golf courses were beautiful and my husband and brother in law enjoyed playing, we would never stay there again, and I am taking the time to write this review to warn others.
  • 3:30pm on 7/24/16...We were seated at the restaurant, Oasis, we got menus and our drink order taken. We got our sodas right away but both were flat. After a few minutes we were ready to order and after 20 minutes no waitress came over to us. There were three waitresses and three tables of people in the restaurant. Two waitresses saw us a few times and still didn't come over. One of those waitresses sat and talked to someone behind a window (maybe a cook?) right next to us for 5 minutes. We ended up walking out with our flat sodas still on the table. We are super bummed because the menu looked delicious and we were starving!
  • My wife and I stayed and played her last year. The condos were nice, the restaurant was ok for food, but the staff was just so wonderful it filled in the gaps of anything missing in the food; don't read this as the food was bad, it just was about a 3.5 on a scale of 5. The golf pro is simply one of the nicest folks you could ever want to meet. The course has always been enjoyable, you should play there.
  • Just spent the weekend at DC / Stayed in the 4-Bedroom Casita and played 4 rounds in 3 days. Absolutely amazing. Great value and the course was in incredible condition(PGA like)well manicured. Unlike other posts, There was a beverage cart making regular rounds all three days(F-S-S) a friendly course Marshal and I found all the staff to be very friendly but I would agree that it is definitely more golf focused than a family resort. The room was very nice, clean and provided every thing you could need/ more of a furnished apt than a hotel room really..I was very impressed look forward to going back
  • Golf was cheap. The cart paths and signs to the next hole were not clearly marked. No drink lady or marshals on the course. They had no cigars..... I mean what kind of golf course has no cigars..... get it together
