  • So many things to do on the Chattanooga Riverfront. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert. Playground and hills to slide down for the kids. Usually there's some special event going on downtown. This weekend for instance there were replicas of Columbus' Nina and Pinta open for tours. A lot of fun.
  • Traveled to this area to listen to some blue grass music in a downtown area. Great music along the Tennessee River with a wonderful walking trail. During the summer this area host musical events most weekends or some sort of art festival (or both). Located on the edge of downtown Chattanooga there are some great places to eat, catch a film, or even climb a wall (yeap). Lots to do in this area.
  • This is a great way to spend an afternoon plenty of room to walk and safe as well. Metro Transportation comes nearby lots of restaurants only a walk away the aquarium is nearby. I would recommend the third deck Burger Bar located on the 3rd deck of the giant ship anchored in the river.
  • Very nice park along the Tennessee River. The park is well lit in the evening and there are a lot of parking option around in the area. There are places to sit and hang out enjoying nature and the river. You can easily get to the Aquarium, Hunter Museum of American Art and the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge. We walked around the park in the late evening and felt safe the entire time we were down there. There were people all around and with the fact that they light the sidewalks very well I never felt like someone could be off to the side waiting for someone to walk by. It also helps that the park is a little bit from the downtown core which makes it more quiet and a great place to be outside without having to leave the city.
  • Pretty park with plenty of things to do. I was here for chattajack but I could notice how the park caters to all kinds of different people. At sunrise it's magic.
