  • This is a nice park with a carousel and fountain for kids to play in. It is along the river with restaurants adjacent to the park. It's a great place to spend several hours on a nice day.  more »
  • Great place to spend a couple of hours. Kids played on all of the statues, rode the carousel, walked across the bridge and enjoyed the views on the river.  more »
  • I had my first kiss with my girlfriend here so it has a lot of value to me. It's very beautiful and is a great place for a photoshoot. Very late at night I would suggest that you don't visit because i...  more »

  • This is such a nice green space for everyone to use. There are small nice walk ways and seating areas. It's close to some nice eating joints. Good Dog is one you would really like trying. Its close to the John Ross and Walnut street bridges. When the weather is beautiful, you really want to take advantage of the walk across and beautiful scenery. Enjoying the area and take plenty of pics.
  • My family and I often head here in the summer to cool off in the fountains. Lots of fun. Beautiful carousel, events facilities, local events, super convenient to the cool vibes of Frazier Ave and all it has to offer. And the view of the bridges and river is beautiful.
  • What an amazing place to spend the day! Spectacular views, some really cool trails, a super fun water play area for the Lil ones. There are numerous bbq stations available for use, a nice food truck set up for cold treats or snacks, with fair prices. And sooooo much space, we truly loved it
  • This is a beautiful park with an amazing carousel. The splash pad is nice, but it seems to always be under maintenance whenever we visit. The views of Chattanooga & the Tennessee River are stunning from the park. The only thing this park is missing is an actual playground and swing-set for children to play on. Parking can very well be an issue too during peak times & requires parking fees.
  • It's an awesome park and recreation area, but it's in the middle of a city filled with and homelessness. I, personally, love the park because you go there to relax, play around with friends, exercise, and take photos. Great place for photography!

Where to stay in Chattanooga

Centrally located Chattanooga hotels offer comfortable rooms just a walk from the city's best shops, restaurants, and museums. Staying in the middle of everything can cost a bundle, so if you're traveling on a budget or simply prefer a bed and breakfast atmosphere, consider staying farther away from the central part of townwhile on holiday. Most budget-friendly inns located along the free electric shuttle route servicing the downtown area offer all the comforts of home at the fraction of the price charged by the big chains.
