In the Himalayan Passage, try to find the shy red panda, with its distinctive dark eyes and banded tail. • Little Zoo with many wild animals,, of all sorts, from leopards, to serpents, to visit with children, who are exited by so much wild animals. Nice visit!
  • This zoo is amazing. The zookeepers love the animals and educating guests. You can tell the animals are loved. Big cats galore. And many other animals to see. Exhibits are well thought out so you can get a good view of all the species.
  • A lot of people rated this zoo low because of size. While much smaller than Birmingham or Atlanta it was unique and good in its own way. Our two year old loved it because she could closer to the animals here rather than on the bigger zoos. They also have some smaller creatures I haven't seen in the bigger zoos. Staff was very nice and for the price you should put this on your vacation list when in town.
  • This zoo is not only special to its town, but special to its people. I for one have grown up visiting this zoo and it is always a pleasure to go to. It may be small but it continues to grow and include everything a great experience has to offer. If you want a big zoo, than Chattanooga may not be the place for you. However if you want an amazing experience then Chattanooga is the best place out there.
  • It's an awesome zoo, for a city like Chattanooga. Most people think it's small, but you can't honestly expect it to be hugel ike the Atlanta zoo..? All in all I believe it's awesome and great just the way it is. People expecting something bigger and better. ... take your butts to a bigger place, not Chattanooga.
  • Horrible ugly zoo employee. My 9 year old son was happily talking about having a pet turtle that he loves dearly; and then all of this sudden this big burly bearded man came out of nowhere and began chastising him for having a pet turtle and that it was cruel and illegal and he could go to jail, and all this other baloney, causing my son to cry. This zooguy didnt know I was in the same room or his Dad, and when I told him to please back off and leave my son alone, he slunk away and disappeared into the trap door that he bounced from. What a crock!
