  • We go to zoos all over the country, and this one is pretty small - which is fine - but the kind of animals is strange. They have coyotes and prairie dogs which were in our yard in Colorado. The mounta...  more »

  • Great, quaint little zoo! This zoo is clean, well organized and family friendly. There are lovely maintained attractions and the animals seem well cared for. We love the fennec fox and the red panda, bring sure to stick around when they bring out her cubs. Adorable! Be sure to stop by the gift shop, there is a great selection at every price point. The zoo cafĂ© is also surprisingly tasty! The carousel is fun with a zoo theme. You can also ride camels at an additional cost.
  • Great zoo with enjoyable exhibits. Clean and not very crowded when we visited. Probably not the biggest zoo I have ever been to but certainly a great way to spend a half day or more. We have been more than I nce. On this most recent occasion we opted for the combo pass which provided some savings on our kids doing the camel, train, and carousel rides.
  • This zoo is amazing. The zookeepers love the animals and educating guests. You can tell the animals are loved. Big cats galore. And many other animals to see. Exhibits are well thought out so you can get a good view of all the species.
  • Chattanooga Zoo rocks. The zookeepers really care about the animals and it shows. It should be noted that they do have a breeding program going and occasionally you may walk up on some turtles mid-coitus. Should be some baby turtles any day now the way they go at it.
  • There is a fine selection of animals, and it would deserve a higher rating but their indoor exhibits smell soooo bad! The only one that doesn't smell disgusting is the exhibit with the fennec foxes. Otherwise plan to rush through on one breath with your nose pinched. It's awful.
