  • This is a scenic area. Make sure you check the tide time or you will not be able to walk along the shore. 
  • This refuge has great hiking trails on the beach and into salt ponds and pine forests. During the swimming season this would be a nice place to swim. 
  • There are several views overlooking the water with seating that is perfect to take in nature. We visited in the Fall but I'm sure anytime of year would be enjoyable. A short walk down some stairs take...  more »
