4.7/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
Windsurf, swim, or climb the lighthouse at Chatham Lighthouse Beach. The spacious beach provides a habitat for seals since this site on their migration route, and it s also a popular spot for boaters. The lighthouse is occasionally open during summer months for visitors, and there's a bike track nearby. There are no lifeguards here, so be cautious while swimming, although boat patrols monitor the beach. Currents can be strong because of the wind.
