  • My kids enjoy going here and seeing what is going on. The interactive pieces are easy for them to use and they enjoy learning about whatever is the topic that month. The last time I went there was an ...  read more »
  • Lots of things for small kids to do and experience. For locals you can get a membership, or if visiting a one day admission. Good for a rainy day activity.
  • Fun, educational, lots to explore and do. My kids love this place. We got a season pass and went often. If you are only in town for a short visit, and you have small kids, this is a great destination ...  read more »
  • Our favorite place to play in Charlottesville. The exhibits are engaging and kept neat and clean. A membership is well worth the price and it's a fun place for a birthday party
  • Recently renovated, it has a lot of the same play areas as before with a few new additions and a more open layout. They've added a kid sized lite brite, blue foam blocks, and a music room (perfect for your budding percussionist).
  • Wonderful play areas for kids that encourage discovery of the world around us. All my grandchildren love this place.
  • It's a great place for a break with the kids. We love the bees, the car building and racing, the new building blocks and the old favorite of the log cabin. At $8/person it's too expensive to do too often. You can get a free pass at the library though!
  • Great place to take your kids to play. The staff are all so friendly, and they keep it pretty tidy. Basically the kids can go around and play with whatever they want. Don't expect it to be a version of an adult museum, or you will probably be disappointed. I would say it's good for walkers to age 4. We are definitely going back!
