  • Lots of things for small kids to do and experience. For locals you can get a membership, or if visiting a one day admission. Good for a rainy day activity.  more »

  • There are so many activities for every age to participate in. We especially loved the child size version of cville. It's so great for kids to learn about where they live!
  • Wonderful play areas for kids that encourage discovery of the world around us. All my grandchildren love this place.
  • Our favorite place to play in Charlottesville. The exhibits are engaging and kept neat and clean. A membership is well worth the price and it's a fun place for a birthday party
  • Recently renovated, it has a lot of the same play areas as before with a few new additions and a more open layout. They've added a kid sized lite brite, blue foam blocks, and a music room (perfect for your budding percussionist).
  • Great place to take your kids to play. The staff are all so friendly, and they keep it pretty tidy. Basically the kids can go around and play with whatever they want. Don't expect it to be a version of an adult museum, or you will probably be disappointed. I would say it's good for walkers to age 4. We are definitely going back!
