Where to stay in Charlottesville

Hotels and inns in Charlottesville's lively downtown area offer proximity to the city's main attractions, but they can be on the expensive side. There are several more inexpensive options located along or near Emmet Street, which is a short drive from the main thoroughfare. Alternatively, immerse yourself in local history by staying at a centuries-old bed and breakfast. Many of these establishments are complete with fine period furnishings.

  • The museum is very well-run and organized. The placards by each art piece are detailed and helpful. Overall it's a lovely museum, just not very big, so there's not a whole lot to see. The rotating exhibits are cool, though!
  • Great little museum with a solid collection of art in a variety of forms.
  • Small quiet museum. Always something interesting on display here.
  • Was disappointed to discover it was not a frat. The art was dank tho.
  • Great museum!
