  • Seriously, the BEST fried chicken you will ever eat. Fantastic. They are great here. Ignore the busses and long lines. Typically there is plenty of room for regular sized parties. Pop in and ask. The tour groups are the ones waiting for the large room.
  • Great place to stop. The Tavern has great food. The shops have some unique finds. The mill has a ton of stuff to get also. Add a gorgeous view and trails to walk and you have Michie Tavern.
  • Always consistent menu doesn't change which is great. Food is always delicious . Don't change a thing when you have a good thing going! Southern comfort food.
  • The atmosphere is so unique, the staff is great and the food is amazing! We chose this as our Anniversary meal and I'm so glad we did. If you go you MUST try the stewed tomatoes. They taste like my Nana made them and that is the highest compliment I have to give!
  • Great food and a fantastic array of little shops. The fried chicken is a must and check out the beer and wine selection.
