  • Had a tall beer with browsing the different crafts kiosks at the Old Mecklenburg Brewery. Lots of nice crafts and very good beer with a giant crowd on a very cold afternoon. Heaters spotted among the ...  more »
  • Visited while in town with a group of eight around 7pm on a weekday. The beer selection was great with a variety of options. Not a tremendous amount of choices for German food (basically, sausage, sch...  more »
  • We love to go to brewery's and winery's - just nice fun time. We really liked this brewery for the dining area, food and beer. Most of the time I go to brewery's and can't find a beer I like but here ...  more »

  • It was our first time here and overall was a great experience. Awesome outdoor patio with plenty of seating, indoor was pretty spacious and cozy. It was a Saturday night, so it was pretty packed. Surprisingly, very family friendly. They had a live Jazz Band playing which was a plus. Food, was decent...we tried the food truck which was outdoors (typical bar food-burgers and hot dogs), however if you wanted to order some food from the menu. They advised us it was only served indoors. We will definitely be back.
  • Great place to hang with friends and family, beer garden is huge and kid friendly . Food was, so so. Portions were small for the price and the service was mediocre. Great tasting beer!
  • We thought we found a cool alternative to fast food...,um, no. Very cool looking place & decent service, but average beer & mall food. A margarita pizza shouldn't be a soggy mess with. Thick cheeses? Garbage. Panini was bland. $50? A waste. I've had much better food at a mall. I've been to 20 brewery's, all better than this joint.
  • Olde Meck is one of my favorite Charlotte breweries. I always tend to drink Copper and Fat Boy, but the seasonals are just as good. It seems to draw a little bit of an older and family oriented crowd. Don't get me wrong, there are still a ton of young people around to socialize with. The outdoor area is where we spend most of our time, enjoying casual conversation or yoga on certain nights. Inside the taproom gets crazy when Germany plays in soccer... let me just say it is something you should experience if you're a German soccer fan. Speaking of the inside bar, be sure to stop in and see Johnathan, he'll make sure your glass is never empty! Excellent service, Charlotte's finest brewery.
  • What else can you ask for in a German Brewery. Tons of outdoor seating with fire pits. Great Beer, Perfect spot for fall drinking. The food is amazing. Large communal tables inside. This is kid friendly too!
