  • So Sycamore is very hit-or-miss for me. On the plus side, the beer is fantastic, the location is convenient, and there's three different parking lots surrounding the building. On the other hand, the entire area is too packed to move at any point when young urban Professionals in Charlotte might be off work and looking to drink. If you're looking for somewhere where you can hear another person, or have more than two square feet of space to yourself, you can't come here in the evenings, particularly on the weekend. I guess that's what some people are looking for. If that's what you want, then Sycamore really is the best place for you. They have an outdoor space, and regular live music. For some reason, though, they have no ability to cover their outdoor seating, so anytime it rains, a bunch of twenty-somethings huddling in Polo shirts and party dresses like wet puppies under the narrow eaves.
  • Best setting to drink a beer. Always alive with fun approachable people and great beer. I've enjoyed the Run Club recently and they always have great events throughout the month.
  • Great atmosphere, mediocre rotation of beer, dislike paying $6 for a craft beer in plastic solo cup. Great location though
  • A great place to drink local beer and socialize. Unfortunately, not my favorite selection of beers. I have not tried them all, but of the 5 I have they were not overly impressive. I would call them good, but nothing outstanding.
  • Unique beers at a great price. Great atmosphere for the recent post-graduate! Pet friendly too and the patio is great!
