Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte
(4.4/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Bank of America Stadium is a 75,412-seat football stadium located on 33acre of land in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. It is the home facility and headquarters of the Carolina Panthers NFL franchise. It also hosts the annual Belk Bowl, which features teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Southeastern Conference, and the annual ACC Championship Game through 2019. The largest crowd to ever attend a football game at the stadium was on December 5, 2015 when 74,514 fans watched the Clemson Tigers defeat the North Carolina Tar Heels 45-37 in the 2015 ACC Championship Game. It has been called " classic American stadium," by Panthers president Danny Morrison due to its bowl design and other features.Other sites considered for selectionThe Panthers organization considered several possible sites for the stadium's location before choosing the Charlotte center city site. Part of the site was occupied by the historic Good Samaritan Hospital. One alternative was near NASCAR's Charlotte Motor Speedway and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in northeast Mecklenburg County. Another was at the intersection of I-85 and US 74 in western Gaston County. A popular option was to locate the facility near Carowinds amusement park, with the 50 yard line being on the state border of North Carolina and South Carolina.

  • Panther's vs. Chargers game. Fine customer service experience. Nothing noteworthy or egregious. Lines were managed to the best of the staffs ability given the volume of fans.
  • Nice stadium. Watched the Panthers game. Hopefully I can go to a new game sooner than later this year and I will have to be able to make sure that I have a good experience.
  • We have made the stadium tour for $5 P.p... Has really paid off, because you have seen a lot and learn.

  • The facilities here are really nice. The upgraded escalator option is a big help as well. If you're coming here for a soccer game or college football game, the environment is awesome. The NFL game environment seems to lack the same "buzz." This isn't a discredit to the facilities, though. Parking nearby is adequate and inexpensive. I suggest parking at the Uptown Cabaret as it's less expensive and not a far walk. Less than a mile away walking.
  • Loved taking my daughter to her first Panthers game. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean facilities and good selection of food and beer, although at premium prices. Parking was fairly easy to find. Just make sure to have cash.
  • Everything is clearly marked & staff with maps easy to find. Bathrooms on 3rd deck ran out of supplies sometime during the half. Hard cider was most expensive out of any professional NFL stadium I've visited at $9.75.
  • Had an amazing tour of the stadium with my school age summer campers. What a great experience! Great tour and friendly staff! Need a public bathroom in the fan store 😕😄😃
  • Came for a panthers game. security check was really easy an fast. Lines for food an drinks were nice an quick. High prices as you would expect. One Plus is its a non smoking Had seats in the 500 which were great for the price next time going for seats closer to the field tho after walking down in the fourth to see the difference in the view. Would recommend seats closer dig difference in actually could see the players name . Overall great experience!
