Bank of America Stadium is a 75,412-seat football stadium located on 33acre of land in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. It is the home facility and headquarters of the Carolina Panthers NFL franchise. It also hosts the annual Belk Bowl, which features teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Southeastern Conference, and the annual ACC Championship Game through 2019. The largest crowd to ever attend a football game at the stadium was on December 5, 2015 when 74,514 fans watched the Clemson Tigers defeat the North Carolina Tar Heels 45-37 in the 2015 ACC Championship Game. It has been called " classic American stadium," by Panthers president Danny Morrison due to its bowl design and other features.Other sites considered for selectionThe Panthers organization considered several possible sites for the stadium's location before choosing the Charlotte center city site. Part of the site was occupied by the historic Good Samaritan Hospital. One alternative was near NASCAR's Charlotte Motor Speedway and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in northeast Mecklenburg County. Another was at the intersection of I-85 and US 74 in western Gaston County. A popular option was to locate the facility near Carowinds amusement park, with the 50 yard line being on the state border of North Carolina and South Carolina.Arrange your visit to Bank of America Stadium and discover more family-friendly attractions in Charlotte using our Charlotte vacation planner.

family night out for a panthers game. So much fun, great seats in the stadium, wide variety of concessions . Friendly energetic staff. One of our best family trips
Came for a panthers game. security check was really easy an fast. Lines for food an drinks were nice an quick. High prices as you would expect. One Plus is its a non smoking Had seats in the 500 which were great for the price next time going for seats closer to the field tho after walking down in the fourth to see the difference in the view. Would recommend seats closer dig difference in actually could see the players name . Overall great experience!
This stadium is a sight to behold and absolutely beautiful from the outside. Inside concessions are decent but overpriced. Team store is outrageous with no discounts for PSL owners or pretty much anyone (unlike the Hornets and Knights stores). Security is ridiculous. You know how many people have tickets. You know how many more people will be milling about. Bad signage and fencing in odd places combined with slow lines and welcome to a sweaty afternoon of waiting to get into the stadium. On the flip side, the tour of the stadium on non-game days is fabulous. Seeing all the various areas and learning the history of the stadium and the team can't be beat - and that is relatively inexpensive to do as well. I'll keep coming back to watch the NFL, ACC, Belk Bowl and International Cup b/c what else can you do if you want to attend those games?
Wow, what a stadium! I was fortunate enough to go on a tour, which is something I would recommend to anyone who is Panthers fan or can just appreciate amazing athletic facilities, or wants to learn the amazing story of an NFL team. You get to see a skybox, the pressbox, the visitors locker room (there are usually players on the premises, so they don't let you go in the Panthers' locker room!), sit in the seats, and walk up to the edge of the field. My tour guide was an absolute gem as well. To exemplify that my Panthers fandom does not create bias in my review, I went with my friend who is a diehard Packers fan and he was really impressed as well.

A beautiful stadium, very clean. The staff could be a bit more engaging in asking patrons if they require help or directions. The food is expensive but that's to be expected.
TOTALLY UNPREPARED!!!! Came for FC Bayern vs. Inter Milan. Line for security was way too long. Security had different standards for how big a bag had to be. Ran out of beer. Only had concessions open at the end zones. I doubt I'll come back for any event ever.
