  • A great place to visit. It was a most pleasant surprise that we did not anticipate on our visit to Charlevoix. (Did not prepare for the area by reviewing Trip Advisor). We were able to sneak in --time...  read more »
  • Not worth the price. Yes, I had a nice time with my husband (and our tour with 20 other people) but the food was cold, bland and tiny portions served "family-style" and shared by 6 other people that d...  read more »
  • We stopped here after reading about it on Trip Advisor on our way through town. It was interesting and very pretty but wasn't as authentic as I thought it would be. It is definately a gorgeous venue f...  read more »
  • Castle Farms was a perfect spot to get married. You are provided a wedding coordinator that helps with coordinating the wedding rehearsal and getting the wedding party lined up on the wedding day. Katelyn did a great job as our wedding coordinator. She always responded to emails quickly and even mailed an item that we left at Castle Farms back to us after the wedding. I loved that Castle Farms allowed us to wait 2 hours before the ceremony to decide if we wanted to have it outside or inside. The radar was changing constantly on our wedding day and we appreciated being able to have the ceremony outside. Castle Farms even provides umbrellas for guests in case it does start to rain during the ceremony. My only complaint is that another wedding that took place at the Castle had chairs, decorations, and other items out on the lawn of the castle where we wanted to take pictures. The wedding party was asked several times to move it (because it is not allowed to be there in the first place) so we could take pictures but they kept moving things back out to the lawn where it would be difficult to crop it out of the wedding photos. I don't feel like this was necessarily Castle Farms fault because the other wedding was very inconsiderate and didn't obey the rules about mutual photography locations. If your looking for a venue where your wedding is the only one taking place that day, Castle Farms is probably not the best option unless your willing to pay a lot to rent out the entire Castle.
  • Garden railroad is neat...but not much to see other than empty rooms. Not worth the admission fee. A solid 5$ would be more appropriate. Somewhat over hyped.
  • Amazing experience for my wedding. Staff overall were very organized, very accommodating, and just about everything ran smoothly. I'd give them 4.9 stars! Only one thing was goofed up - staff told our photographers that we'd be leaving out a different door than we actually did, and so our photographers missed our sparkler exit. I think the mistake happened when our main venue coordinator, Brittany, had to trade off with the night person to take over for the rest of the event.
  • You are paying for the place first and foremost but second is customer service! It was beautiful during the tour, but follow and customer service after that fell short. Not responding to emails in a timely fashion is a NO NO! If one of your main selling points is going above and beyond and taking care of you on your special day, you should really learn to start that before so that you can get your customers to commit. Ultimately glad we decided not to go with the Castle farms group because if they can mess up this early one could only imagine how upset I would be the day of the wedding! I sent numerous emails, expressing my experience and how I felt. One reply was at least you are getting an email!! WTF and the next response she did not include my original email so she did not have to answer to my issues ! O well on to bigger and better things for us. If you decide to take a tour hopefully your experience is better than ours!
  • Always beutiful. Wounderful friendly.
