  • Great place to experience history. The Fort regularly puts on events, reenactments and annual dinner. Great place to introduce children to history.

  • Stunning Fort! I was thoroughly impressed with the detail & effort it must have taken to erect it. It was breathtaking to experience what life must have been like for the originated inhabitants. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The relics & artifacts stored within the fort are also well-worth the visit, to name a few, Native American tools, centuries-old canoe, early western furniture. Yes, we had costumed tour guides, on a non-event day.
  • History buffs will love this place. Small but packed with a ton of history.
  • Well worth the visit. The staff was very helpful and knew not only the history of the settlement but also the surrounding area.
  • Nice place to go and see the past
  • Nice view of river. Cool to visit
