East Beach reviews
Such a stunning beach! Super clean and huge, you can walk the coast for ever! Beautiful place to go! more »
I read the reviews here before coming to this beach. I went today on a hot Sunday and we had to pay $49 for parking! I understand that is a hot weekend but even so $49 is way too much. The beach was..... more »
We arrived at just before 3pm on a cloudy Saturday in July and was able to park fine. $14 for out of state visitors, paid cash. There was a sign farther up the road saying the lot was full, but we... more »
Another Five Star day on East Beach. Great fishing day. Lots of activity for site-"sea"ers Plenty of parking still in spite of the crowd of vehicles...they're mostly on the beach. Caught site of a lone Seal near us close to shore. This is going to be a monthly trek for us this winter. Too wonderful to miss. Fresh air.
Beautiful New England beach with great bathrooms! The composting bathrooms (white buildings) are so clean and tidy. They also have standard port-a-potties that were very clean as well. The beach was lovely. Parking was INSANE! We arrived on a warm Saturday morning at 9am (parking opens at 8:30am) and it was already full! We had to park about a mile away and walk. When you can park there, the parking costs are under $15. They also have a life guard on duty for a portion of the beach.
I LOVE East beach. We've been going there for YEARS because it's just the best. NEVER overcrowded, always clean. Totally worth the 2 hour drive from my home and having to get up REALLY early in the morning
My favorite beach in all of RI. Small parking lot fills up fast on weekends and not many amenities. During the fall a great place for surf fishing or just taking a walk.
