  • Would like to visit again when it is not so cold because it seems like it would not be overly crowded even in the summertime.  more »
  • We never tire of the RI beaches. Charlestown doesn't have some of the amenities of the others but it's beautiful, clean and the other people on the beach are friendly. Its our favorite!  more »

  • Definitely a hidden gem amongst RI beaches! Have been here are a couple of times and have never been crowded out like other beaches over near Westerly. Parking is your normal cost and I'd recommend parking up the road a little for half the cost since it's a hike to the beach either way.
  • This is definitely one of the nicer beaches in the state of Rhode Island. My family spent the week in Charlestown and the beach was probably the best part of the trip. It was never super crowded like Misquamicut, but the only downside is the fact that there are very few waves due to block island getting in the way
  • So far, my favorite Rhode Island beach! Very clean with great waves and beautiful view.
  • Clear Water. Nice crowd.
  • Most beautiful beach of the area!
