  • We visited the Waterfront park as a part of Charleston in the Nutshell walking tour. Beautiful boardwalk is located next to the water taxi pier and is a popular tourist attraction site on the Charleston harbor. The famous Pineapple fountain and Vendue fountain situated on the park grounds. On a sunny day you can see Fort Sumter from the boardwalk.
  • Great place to go with the family to see the Charleston waterfront. Kids love playing in the fountain! The swings are nice to sit and relax. Only downside is the sewage smell.
  • So beautiful. There is so much to see. The kids had a great time looking at all the historic buildings. There were parks, playgrounds, and the kids were even allowed to Wade in the fountains...... Oh and did I mention, free parking for disabled veterans....Thank you!
  • Disappointed that people can wade in the pineapple fountain. Parking was a bit of a challenge but didn't take longer than 3 minutes to find a street spot. Nice covered walkways by trees and nice ocean/riverfront view. Good to spend an hour here or two. Traffic leaving and going across the big relatively new white cable bridge was horrible taking nearly 30 minutes to cross at 5 PM. My suggestion is if you have to cross the bridge, avoid rush hour.
  • Great Experience, although the water was a little it still gave a sense of calm. The surrounding area with the beautiful homes and trees was very charming. I loved it and hope to return soon.
