  • Thank you Dot for another wonderful visit. You are truly an amazing hostess, as always. Although only 30 minutes from Richmond, it's like being whisked back in time where everything is grande and elab...  more »

  • The owner was so accommodating and kind to us. Our reservation didn't go through but she was willing to show us what was available to us and accommodated myself, my husband and my two kids for only, $18 extra. They made such a delicious breakfast and we were able to explore the ground. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone. It was such a beautiful property.
  • I drove to Charles City from New York, expecting to stay at my family home. When I arrived, the power, heat and water were off, and I was exhausted and needed a place to stay. I called Edgewood and they were able to accommodate me on short notice. I cannot begin to describe the kind hospitality Dot and Julian bestowed on me. My room was warm and nicely appointed. In the morning, I walked the grounds to the creek and was able to see the impressive historic mill on the property. The home is lovely and I was very comfortable, but more importantly, they really helped me and extended the utmost hospitality in every way. I will never forget their kindness.
  • The most amazing b&b. Beautiful and well kept. The owners aew are amazingly sweet. The bed (made in 1818) was so comfortable (though short, 6'2 about the max for stretching out) and every room has a bathroom. The breakfast was amazing, three courses with great conversation (we sat for like three hours). Best place to stay, words can barely describe. Plus its two minutes from Berkeley Plantation.
  • I was there hunting for pokemon go gyms, but the whole place was really beautiful. 5/7 would go back
  • Beautiful bed and breakfast. Lots of historical items in the house and behind it in the museum. Grounds are beautifully maintained. Owners are wonderful couple that aim to please. Follow my Pinterest board, Edgewood, for pictures of Plantation.
