  • Small but very aesthetically pleasing, campsites by the river have no privacy and are rather far from the bathroom, very polite staff
  • Very professional staff and well maintained facility yet you get a nice sense of being out there in an old remote forest.
  • Perfect getaway from the city; only 1hr drive for clean river and forest plus history, reminds me of the forest in Puerto Rico El Yunque
  • Absolutely beautiful! Loved the hiking and the falling asleep to the burbling Cold River. The rangers are friendly and helpful. All the facilities are clean and well maintained. Thanks for a great trip! Pro-tip: the directions from the south and east on Google Maps are not correct. Don't take 8A. Take 91 to Route 2. Much quicker and easier
