  • We went at the wrong time and I didn't know my is a very neglected, but the ondanm park. Plant diversity is actually not bad. can tour both as soon as possible.

  • Beautiful garden that showcases many of the great native plants of NC. The gardens are perfect for strolling and it is in a central location. It has a lot of great learning activities for children (and yourself) and a thoughtful children's area that includes a play area, bird watching hut and a fairy letter writting station. If you would like an extended walk you can continue to the great trails behind the Gardens.
  • Very nice and quiet with plenty of parking (when I visited, on a weekday morning), lots of interesting plants. The ground is mostly well packed gravel and sand, with some boardwalks and rougher ground, and some paved or brick paths. Suitable, but not ideal, for a baby stroller with a sleeping baby.

  • Is a large will maintain botanical garden in the heart of the Chapel Hill area. Very easy to fine, and a great facility with a lot of educational resources for teachers and students. They also specializing in native plants for the North Carolina area and a lot of's sustainability practices.
