  • Great trails and many local plants to see. Lovely little bird sighting area. Many of the plants were marked which is always nice. Free to park and enter. Nice little gift shop too.  more »

  • Lovely place. Unfortunately, it's a bit heavily travelled now, so not a good place to reliably be alone in the woods. Also, despite clear signs prohibiting it, too many visitors let their dogs off leash. I've had dogs co e at me several times here by owners who don't seem to care.
  • Love coming here. The staff is so nice and informative. The grounds are beautiful. My favorite was looking at the quits. It never gets old.
  • Neat place to roam. Different, natural style gardens and a little shop. They are also trails behind it to walk.
  • Beautiful place to visit to enjoy North Carolina's native species of plants. They have hundreds of native species of normal plants. They also have native carnivore beds. Venus flytrap and pitcher plants, and others. Although they don't allow dogs in the main garden, the garden's sourounding property is open for hiking and best of all, they allow pets :-).
  • My family and I were driving by, and thought we'd stop in. We enjoyed walking the nature trail, viewing the herb garden, and letting the children play in the kids section. Very friendly staff!
