  • You can walk into different terrains just by changing directions. So close to the city. Full of birdsong and peace. After your walk relax with a cup of tea in front of the fireplace, or in summer, on the patio. Delightful. My favorite place to visit and well worth the annual single membership of $49.00.
  • Always love coming here! Well maintained and educational, beautiful of course too. My favorite part is the ongoing sculptural collaborations on display here, both inside/around the main building and on the 3 Mile Loop drive. Has something for everyone -- wildflowers, ornamental flowers, native plants, exotic plants, succulents, cacti, water vegetation, trees, Japanese zen garden, herbs, and other garden crops.
  • Wow! The Minnesota Landscape Arborteum is gorgeous! Start out with a loop around the 3 mile drive to scope out where you want to spend your time. Then on the second time around, park and get out and walk! There's a fun hedge maze, a neat sculpture garden, and the annual and perennial gardens are absolutely breathtaking!
  • The arboretum is gorgeous any time of the year. We especially enjoy the trails as the rose garden. My wife and I were married here in 2015 and for the cost of a reception space, ceremony space, and catering for 50 people we pulled off a wedding for under 8 grand. That said it was an early morning wedding, but don't think such a beautiful setting is out of reach. We've never eaten more than a muffin at the cafĂ© there. It was ok, but over priced for sure. All in all the arboretum is a great place to spend the day. It also has a ton of pokestops!
  • I had my wedding in the shrub rose garden last weekend. The staff was super friendly and helped make our ceremony run perfectly. They were very helpful! I'd recommend them to anyone. The price pays for the help!
