Navigate desert trails aboard a stagecoach, explore a haunted hotel, or take in a staged gunfight at Rawhide Western Town & Event Center. In this recreated 1880s Old West town, you can also pan for fool’s gold, battle a mechanical bull, or opt for a more sedate donkey ride. If you like a physical challenge or adrenaline rush, try trampoline bungee jumping, ziplining, or scaling the climbing wall. Stroll around the shops, eat at one of the restaurants, and chat with the employees dressed as cowboys while you explore. Admission to the town is free, but there is a fee for parking. Many attractions also require the purchase of special tickets. Note that only assistance pets are allowed in the town. • Visited here twice, once with family and once with friends. Both visits a lot of fun, especially the cowboy cookout (first visit) and having a friend arrested and thrown in the town jail (second visit...  more »
  • We visited the site around 1: 00 in the afternoon, and there was literally no one! Not even an employee on the site? Maybe because the shows of began around 5: 00? We have, however, visit the site and suddenly make pictures without being bothered by the world. On entering the city we really had the feeling of taking a leap into the past! The sets were very nice! I recommend this ghost Town!

  • I guess I remembered it differently.... I grew up going to Rawhide when it was out in north north Scottsdale. The place was always busy. I returned to the valley after 20 years in the military to find it had moved out to around Chandler, which was great, I live in the area. I took my family hoping for all the fun I remembered but sadly the magic and mystic of this place was left back where it was up rooted from.
  • One of the best place to take out of town guests. The interaction between actors and guests is great. We had much fun.
  • This place was so much fun! My toddler loved it. They have fun shows including magic shows. Petting zoos, gold panning and train rides. We will definitely be going back!
  • Definitely a place to go check out. There are things for kids to do, bars, and short theater shows. We went to a wine and food tasting. It was fun.
  • My family and I had a blast. We went on a slow day so we didn't wait long for anything. The entire staff was very pleasant. At first I was a little upset to pay $5 for parking because of a special event, but was fine with it when I was told that my parking ticket became a $5 coupon at the steak house. Overall this is a great place to take your family.
