Compared with real slopes out west or even Blue Knob in central PA, this place is an expensive joke. I stopped going a couple years ago when I almost ran into a huge ball of ice with my snowboard on the slope. Not that it was an exception. The slopes are filled with ice usually, and little to be said for fresh powder. I don't regret missing it the last couple years because they only keep increasing the lift prices. For what? As it is, they should be half of what they are.
Beautiful ski lodge in the mountains of SWPA. So much to do in every season. Alpine Slide, mountain biking, rock wall in the summer and premier skiing in the winter with an indoor bowling alley and so many other amenities to keep you busy in the winter. Be sure to check out the Spa.
My mom came to this resort a few years ago thru the school we go to. She went to conferences and she said she'd love to go back. Her stay was paid for but she does agree it is high priced. She's looking to come back for three days two nights hopefully this summer as it was her favorite vacation and she met some amazing people. Staff was great and everyone was friendly.
I come here every year from Orlando, Fl. to stay and visit relatives that live in the area around 7springs. Each year I am never disappointed by wonderful and attentive staff that work hard to make my experience great. The reservation manager helped me book a two night stay even though they were at capacity that weekend. Tina B at the front desk helped to get the family style room when we checked in. Cheryl in the Bavarian room helped accommodate my mothers request for chili. Beverly the manager assisted me when I had an issue with take out from Timbers. Lastly Amber and Kelsey at the front desk did a fantastic job all the way around helping me out. All the staff on the grounds at the summer tubing, alpine slide and alpine tower were very nice as well. The staff works hard and are friendly, and it's one reason why I choose this resort each year when I come back to visit. Maybe this year I'll come up in the winter too. The only thing I'd recommend is a "freshen up" of the indoor putt-putt.
Fabulous family resort. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and have since taken the kids on many summer vacations. We always stay in the condos. Food is excellent. The kids day camp was loved by all my kids when they were little. As a matter of fact, even though my son is now 20, when he heard we were planning another family vacation to 7 Springs he wondered if they would allow him to attend the day camp!!!! Not only does 7 Springs have a lot of activities but the surrounding area is abuzz with many things to do. One of the previous reviews by a woman said that she couldn't imagine spending a week there. TRY IT ! You will surely change your mind. Stan Hockey
