  • Love this park. It encourages kids to learn about our American history while having tons of fun, running, climbing and exploring.
  • Overall the park was good and in the island inside it was a lot of fun for kids and family. But outside of the island on the boardwalk , everywhere you step in a pile of bird poop
  • great place to have a small get together with lots of fun with families...especially having small kids.
  • This is truly a great places for kids and a very safe environment. The city provides some great opportunities for learning and fun activities such as music in the park. A must go if you live near the area or are visiting.
  • The little park is great for kids. I took my cousin to play there and follow him around to watch over him. They have different sections there is the boat where they can pretend to be sailor or simply look down in the water for fishes that swim around or turtles. Their is gueese and ducks waddling around, they are really friendly. It is a really peaceful place to be at. People even go to take pictures of quinciañeras and stuffs. The bathroom are not very clean though. But at least they are flushable. Parking is always avaliable and the playground and basketball courts are well-maintained.
  • This park is one of the most unique parks anywhere. There is a huge playground built into a mini reproduction of a revolutionary period coastal town surrounded by a moat. There are slides and ladders, nets and bridges everywhere. Kids absolutely love it. The park also offers sports fields, picnic benches, basketball and traditional playgrounds. The bathrooms are clean and centrally located.
  • Sprawling, complex, park and play area. The park is dominated by a central island that has a sort of historical village that is a playground with slides and climbing equipment inside the "buildings". There are lots of slides and climbing areas for older kids there. It is often very busy here with groups, families, and photographers roaming about. I find it really hard to keep track of my kid here as there are so many passageways and obstructions. If you have kids that are too young to play on your own it's probably better to stick to the playgrounds outside the island.
  • A wonderful and whimsical playground for kids complete with a colonial village and pirate's ship. Keep a sharp eye for your little ones because there are nooks and corners they can run off to in a flash. Lots of duck, waterfowl, and turtles to see. Geese can be aggressive.
