Heritage Park Reviews
なぜこんなステキな施設が無料なのかと思うくらいの充実度！ 日本なら確実に入場料がかかるような素晴らしいファシリティでした。2歳児が大喜びで一日中遊んでいます。リピート確実！ more »Adequacy as I wonder why this wonderful facility is free! If Japan could take such amazing facility admission is absolutely. 2-year-old children are playing with glee throughout the day. Surely repeat!
We stopped by the park to eat lunch after walking the nearby sculpture garden. We were really impressed with the new playground equipment and the village area. Looks like a really great place to have ... more »
The grandkids love climbing and exploring the little New England village on the island or just playing on the more traditional playground nearby. more »
This park is incredible. We loved the old Boston recreation. The slides and play equipment inside the building were so fun to explore. The covered bridge into the are was a nice touch.
What a nice park. It's big and can fit kids of all age ranges even adults. At the center of the park there's a little island that houses an old time Colonial Town. It has to do a lot with Paul Revere. The little town itself has a bunch of play areas and rest and relax areas. There's ducks, Turtles, swans and all types of birds. There's lots of parking some of the front some of the back and the neighborhood is so close you could park in the neighborhood also.
This is one of the best parks for kids. There are three play structures for various age groups, two infant swings and two regular swings, small sand box, four party areas (three are covered), a basketball court, a baseball field and the main attraction is a pond and bridge to an island. The island has its own separate (fifth) party area, three covered play structures (two that are connected via two walkways for kids), a climbing net, and a separate covered slide. There are spiral stairs next to the covered slide but it's been blocked off recently. Also, the walkway has been blocked off recently and looks like it's dented and a hazard. The island is closed on Tuesday mornings for maintenance and is closed periodically if it rains. Because it's so popular, it gets very crowded on the weekends, especially because of large wedding and other parties taking pictures on the island. It's beautiful, so I understand it's popularity but I really wish the photograph parties were managed a little better. It makes the parking lot and island crazy on the weekends. This is the only reason I gave four instead of five stars. The office building also houses another covered party area and a pre-school. There are a few picnic tables around the park. There's a sidewalk that outlines the park. Great for walkers but I rarely see joggers. There are two restroom facilities - one stand alone and one in the same building as the office. Staff regularly make rounds and are always friendly and helpful. We've had several events at this park and never had any problems. You must be a resident to reserve party areas and there are regulations that are strictly enforced. There are two parking lots but the one in the back is small and can be difficult for non-residents to find. There are ducks, geese and turtles. There are several signs that prohibit the feeding of the animals. People do walk their dogs but owners must be prepared to clean up after them. Hopefully, I have all my information correct. Check the website for more. Overall, a wonderful park!
Heritage Park is a clean and imaginative park. It includes grass areas, ponds, and buildings that are fashioned to look like an old, English-style village. There are bridges, ducks, unusual trees, and built-in slides and structures where children can play in and around the village buildings. There's even statuary and a small ship! Fun for all and a great place to spend the day and photograph your favorite Pilgrim!
Very nice park. My kids favorite. Beautiful grass and wildlife. This is a great place to have a picnic or a nice outdoor gathering. It's also fun for kids to play.
