  • Great scenery and a pleasant hike. Just make sure you have a hat and sunscreen as you will be out in the sun! 
  • Stopped by the vistor center, open 2-4 pm Enthusiastic volunteer explained the geology. Did a great hike to an overview. So glad we stopped 
  • Easy hiking, some connecting trails are longer. Take the map, not that you would get seriously lost, but you could end up with an extra mile of hiking or so with a wrong turn. Gives a good overview of...  more »

  • Great hikes for all difficulties. You can go for 10 minutes to see a great view of the town, or for 4 hours (strenuous) to see lots of amazing vistas. Wish I had more time to explore.
  • A lonely place off the main road Hwy 14. I have made several visit here seeking to observe a Road Runner - the bird. No luck. It is an interesting state park has hiking trails, picnic tables a nice flat road. Almost no birds because of the lack of water.
