  • Very warm and friendly woman running the place who is full of information. The turquoise there was a bit pricey for the quality
  • They have a variety of items. They also have a museum and a petting zoo. It is very rustic.
  • A great local shop with lots of charm. Especially fun if you are in to gem and mineral collecting, and the feeding station for the animals will keep your kids excited. No cost of entry (but you can buy food to feed the animals) and probably a good twenty minute stop if you're looking for a driving break and a place for the kids to run around (longer if you're in to rock collecting).
  • Flea market patrons and stone collectors will appreciate this quirky pueblo style stop. I was looking for unpolished Sonora Sunrise turquoise. The owner Patricia found me a whole box to select from! They have reasonably priced turquoise jewelry and tables of polished and unpolished stones. Also inexpensive beads just begging to be strung. Didn't go into the "museum" filled with old bottles and glass insulators. Seems like their $2 charge is really to discourage gawkers. Will definitely stop here again.
  • Terrible waste of time. Ramshackle dump that showcases the tackiest tourist novelties, racist art, and features a junky "museum" that serves no purpose or unique perspective. There are cute animals at the petting zoo, which is the only remotely pleasant part of the property. The Shopkeeper was mean, rude and downright angry for being bothered to get up and help us. Save your time and money and go to Madrid, NM only a few miles away. It is much more warm, beautiful and friendly - which is a million miles away from Caca Grande.
