  • We attended at special event at Caprice and found the wines were tasty, the staff was friendly, the music was nice and the finger foods very delicious.
  • Great little winery just outside of Jacksonville limits. Of special note are the Alpacas. The tasting room and wine is alright. This is a mom-and-pop shop. What's fun is when the owner invites you to ...  more »

  • We had a wonderful time at Caprice vineyards. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The wine was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the voigneux, it had a wonderfully unique character. The alpacas were also an added treat! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
  • Great setting - liked seeing the alpacas. Wines were just so-so. Staff was friendly though.
  • This place is awesome!! Jim and Jeanne are very welcoming. Come and enjoy music Sunday afternoons with your favorite wine. Enjoy the alpacas and the fresh fruit.
  • A beautiful vineyard that has Alpacas and Llamas that you can visit with. The owners, Jim and Jeannie are excellent host and very friendly. This is a great place to come and share a bottle of wine with friends or let the kids visit with the Alpacas. Fresh apples, eating grapes, and vegtables in the summer.
  • What a great place to take the family!! The kids can enjoy meeting and learning about the Alpaca's, Then the adults can indulge in some wonderful wine tasting, the Cabernet was my favorite full bodied but not to heavy and my husband loved the Chardonnay crisp and clean. The owners Jeanie and Jim are fantastic hosts keeping the conversations lively and making you feel right at home. The have a great gift shop filled with homemade Alpaca gifts and clothing and the wine is very affordable so taking home a few bottles with out breaking the bank is awesome. Caprice Winery has become a regular stop for us everytime we visit Jacksonville.
