Bethpage Ballpark is a 6,002-seat baseball park in Central Islip, New York that serves as the home of the Long Island Ducks, an independent minor league baseball team that is a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Its first regular season game took place on May 14, 2000, when the Ducks played host to the Aberdeen Arsenal. The game was the first in the history of both franchises, as they both entered the Atlantic League at the same time. Bethpage Ballpark hosted the 2002 and 2010 Atlantic League All-Star Games.Naming rightsOn July 17, 2001, Citigroup acquired European American Bank (EAB) for $1.6 billion and $350 million in preferred stock. The acquisition resulted in a name change from EAB Park to Citibank Park. However, Citigroup ended its corporate sponsorship in the spring of 2010 and the ballpark was given the temporary name "Suffolk County Sports Park" for the 2010 season. On December 15, 2010, Suffolk County officials agreed to a $2.1 million deal with Bethpage Federal Credit Union to name the stadium "Bethpage Ballpark" until the 2020 season.Ballpark attractionsConcessions at Bethpage Ballpark include mainly traditional ballpark fare, located at the Hebrew National Picnic Area. Beer connoisseurs can visit the Smokin' Als Party Deck for their choice beverage. In addition to Bethpage Ballpark's 6,002 chairback seats in the general seating area, it includes the Luxury Suites and the club level suites available for business or pleasure.Put Bethpage Ballpark into our Central Islip itinerary planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Central Islip.

Bethpage Ballpark Reviews
This is a great park for the whole family. Pretty much any seat is good for watching the game. The Ducks organization always have things for the kids to do and the fireworks on weekend games are alway... more »
Going to a LI Ducks game is a wonderful outing. The parking is free, food reasonably priced, and the between innings interaction is great. There is no bad seat and on planned Sundays you are able to g... more »
while baseball fans with knowledge of the sport attend nearly all the games, there are those who simply go to be autograph seekers. The tickets are a very good deal, not a bad seat in the stadium but ... more »
DISCLAIMER: This is a review of the ballpark itself, not the Ducks, not the Ducks management or players, but strictly the ballpark and its management. Overall it's a nice place. Tickets are cheap, parking is free, and food is considerably cheaper than a Major League game. The only major issue is that there are two ice cream machines for the entire stadium, so after the 3rd inning, you will easily be waiting 20 minutes if you want ice cream. On the minor side, sometimes the staff likes to just hang out on the stairs and not move so stairs are sometimes blocked...
Great fun for anyone. I've been with a few people and with large groups. I've been in the upper enclosed private boxes and down behind the dugout. I've sung with a couple of different groups our national anthem, and I caught a couple of T-shirts. I've enjoyed each entire experience from parking the car to Grucci's fireworks. Your $20 bill gets you your seat, pretzel & ice cream.
Great place for family fun. Great seats for $13! I'm talking field level. Good food at OK prices. Lots to do for the kids, give-aways all night. Quack Jack is fun for the kids. Very interactive. Photos show from row 3 only $13!
We were at Bethpage Ballpark for a Business Mixer & we could not have had a better time. I brought my son & he absolutely loved it. We were at Smokin Als Deck down the Left Field Line & it was Great, my son went home with three baseball souvenirs. Food, company, LI Ducks, waitresses were all outstanding. Thanks to Jim for organizing a great evening!
Great place for a nice ballgame from a local team on Long Island. They have bouncy houses and slides for the kids too. Clean ballpark, free parking.
