  • Snowy Range isn't the biggest mountain out there, but the cheap lift tickets, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and the fact that i have never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a lift means that Snowy is the mountain for me, and I will be returning every season for as long as I still live in Northern Colorado.
  • Great little ski hill. The latest owners have really done a great job with this place lately. Worth the short drive, and reasonable ticket costs.
  • I have enjoyed my experience at Snowy Range as a season pass holder for over three years now. It's too bad Donna had to leave The Coffee Corral to go to Centennial. As I filled up my mug, Ruth, a curt cashier, snapped, "You're going to pay for that!" Pressed to explain, she said employees were taking coffee without paying. A more astute person would know by my season pass that I wasn't such a person. Besides, after several years as a customer there, she could have said, "I'll help you over here, Sir" if it's that big of a problem and not have made rash judgments. Years of credit card statements would prove I'm not a thief. I apologize to Donna, who is the greatest, for posting a review that exonerated her for this rude behavior. She deserves her own franchise. Am I being too sensitive? Would you put up with this rudeness? I didn't think so. Maybe Ruth will save face and say I was rude, which is fiction!
  • I enjoy Snowy Range for several reasons. It's only 90 minutes away, the ski area is small and employees are helpful, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg for a day of good skiing, and I've never had to wait to catch the lift to the top. It can be windy and there can be bare spots, depending on when you go, but it's still a favorite of mine.
  • Cheap family mountain. Cheapest around and still pretty nice despite that. Long drive through nothing to get out there but good mountains with enough to entertain you for a whole day
