  • I love the Silver Creek Brewery. It's very unique, an awesome location (great patio in the warmer month) and the BEST Bloody Mary's around!
  • Tasty non-alcoholic blonde root beer made on-site! Good brews. Awesome historical atmosphere! No food available. Closed Mondays (to brew beer).

  • Great malty and flavorful Oktoberfest, higher in ABV. The Hefeweizen is also very tasty with a touch of banana. The Kolsch is nothing to rave about. The Java Stout did not taste like coffee, had more of a smokey flavor which I didn't expect or desire for a coffee stout. I love the comfortable and cool patio set up right along the river. It's a great spot for wedding photos which I have seen occur both times I have been here. The inside is cozy and has kind of rustic and old England feel with cast iron d├ęcor and arched doors.
  • This was my absolute favorite local brewery, but I had the worst experience last night. My boyfriend and I frequent this brewery, it's charming and has good beer and sitting next to the river is beautiful. We had 16 out of town guests over for my 25th birthday and I wanted to take them there for a beer. Everyone was served when my boyfriend and I went up and she asked for my ID. After staring at it, she asked for my address, which I gave her correctly. She then threw my ID down and said "I'm not serving you". I asked why and she didn't believe my ID was real, which was fine- and she said unless you have something else to prove you're the person on this ID, and walked away. When she finally came back, I gave her two credit cards and my work badge that also had my picture- everything she asked for, and we were being really nice about it. She looked at it and threw all of cards on the bar and proceeded to yell at me infront of the whole bar. She caused a huge commotion and everyone was staring at me. So I said fine, we'll go somewhere else and she continued to yell "it's my liquor license, I'm not serving you". I understand that you have the right to deny service, but to yell and embarrass me after I gave you everything you asked for while remaining polite was awful. The 18 of us left immediately as did 2 patrons who weren't even with our party. I was mortified and it put a huge damper on our evening. You lost out on a lot of service last evening and I can guarantee you I will never set foot in that place again. The best part is that the group I was with are all around my age, 23-30, and she didn't card hardly any of them, so she obviously isn't too concerned about her liquor license, she just didn't want to admit she was wrong. Like I said, I understand the right to serve or if I was intoxicated or had I been putting up a fight. I was totally fine just leaving and going somewhere else. It was the yelling and attitude I got that really upset me. My friends went back in to bring their beer back and close tabs and they got her name, it was Kelly.
  • delicious and a beautiful river seating area. plus close to a park.
  • Location was nice, unique. Oatmeal stout was quite good, Porter not as much I think. Service was indifferent, didn't seem to care if I was there or not. I might try another night to see if the experience is better.
  • If you're in Cedarburg, you should stop and visit this gem. Great beer, and a beautiful patio to enjoy it on. You'll encounter plenty of cyclists because there is a trail that leads directly to the beer garden. So don't forget to pack your helmet and bicycle jersey in the car so you can pretend you worked hard to get there.
