  • There are some antiques in the small park, but it is not very attracting to me. I don't recommend this park, since there are a lot more to see in Cedar Key.  more »

  • A nice state park away from the waterfront area. Great history and friendly park employees here. Kids enjoyed it too. Its a bit winding of a drive to get to so watch your signs closely and use a GPS to go there.
  • Nice place right at downtown Cedar Key. The museum is very well done and very well kept. It is a self-guided tour through the building and they have many artifacts in there. It's definitely worth the cost of admission. The curator is very knowledgeable.
  • This is a place for discovering. Bring the kids or just take a romantic get a way. $50 cottages on the water. Everything is old and historic. You'll love it. Buy a brick at the museum to support their efforts. Stop by one of the clam factories. I like Southern Cross Clams. Right on the north side of the main road out of town. You can also by fresh caught blue crab, shrimp and fish. You can ask for a brief tour of the clam operation. Very interesting. Cedar Key is a place you will never forget. Great sunsets too.
