  • Outstanding course. Nicely conditioned, great layout, and a friendly staff. Also, a very nice practice area. Played on very windy day, making a challenging course even tougher. I played from the white...  more »
  • This is one of the best courses in Texas. The course is tough; the views are spectacular. This on par with La Cantera Palmer, the best San Antonio course.
  • Beautiful, very well maintained golf course that can challenge your game. The first 12 holes play through the surrounding hills and the final 6 holes are along the Colorado River valley with towering ...  more »

  • Wolfdancer is a great course. From start to finish, it's a great golf experience. We were met in the parking lot immediately by a friendly gentleman. He loaded our clubs onto the cart and gave us some tips on the course. The front desk folks were super friendly as well. The carts have a great GPS system. The practice facility was in really good shape. The course is phenomenal. Generous fairways and challenging greens. Every hole was fun and the GPS makes it easy to see where you need to hit to have a good shot into the green. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this course.
  • Gorgeous course that is in great condition. A pleasure to play a course with fantastic staff, great greens and fairways and beautiful scenery.
  • Beautiful course but expensive
  • This is a great golf course, I played the course one and a half weeks after they aerated the greens and they were in good shape. Everything on the golf course is lush and green, the only course I have played in Austin that is comparable condition wise is Barton Creek Fazio Course. This actually may be in better shape. Staff at the course is awesome, they were extremely helpful during my first time playing the course. The practice facility is huge and even has music playing to set the mood right for the day. Upon arriving to the first tee starter greeted me and showed me how to use the GPS unit equipped on the cart, it was fairly easy to use and extremely accurate. If you are looking for somewhere difficult but extremely enjoyable to play in the Austin area, this is your place. Enjoyed it a ton and will be back again when I am in the area.
  • Went out for my first time this past weekend (middle of January). Most of the previous reviews here are spot on. The staff was very friendly (not usually the case on a course of this quality), the resort was beautiful, and the course was super challenging. I'm what you may call a hacker (~20 handicap) but this course made me look childish.... Even the when you hit a GIR and think about a birdie, beware of the dreaded 3 putt bogey or even 4 putt double. The greens are cut incredibly tight but I have never putted on a green that rolled more true. Play hole 16 as a par 5 or you are nearly guaranteed to give at least 1 stroke back. Great experience, thanks Wolfdancer and Staff!! We'll be back
