  • The trail is neat. There are lots of photo opportunities along the trail. My grand baby loved the playscape at the end of our tour. They have a cute gift shop and nice clean bathrooms.  more »
  • Too expense! Not very well maintained and certainly not up to the standards of greater Austin museums and points of interest.  more »
  • My son is 3 and loves dinosaurs. The whole family enjoyed walking the trail together and learning interesting facts about the different species. Looking at the pictures online, I wasn't sure if the ex...  more »

  • This place is so perfect for a 2-3 year old. Great staff and really clean, fun and well stocked gift shop. You have to enter the gift shop before you enter the actual dinosaur park itself so my son thought the dinosaur park WAS the gift shop. That's okay though as I thought it was pretty cool myself. The setup out back is essentially just a circled dirt path around a playground in the center. It's really cool because as you walk around the circle there are different kinds of dinosaurs hidden amongst the foliage. I would say to my boy "Look, what's that?" As I pointed out the dinosaurs. He was in heaven in the park and the gift shop. He's been saying "look, what's that?" Now for two weeks which just tells me it left a lasting, great impression on him. Highly recommended.
  • This was a wonderful place to take my 2 and 4 year old kids. I loved that we could bring our own lunch to enjoy while we were there and could go through the path as many times as we pleased. The kids loved the dinosaurs, and so did my husband and I for that matter! It was cool seeing them life size, the big and the small. We enjoyed them a lot. After a trip around the path, the kids played on the playground. They enjoyed digging and brushing for bones and fossils as well. A wonderful place to visit for anyone wanting to spend an hour or an afternoon!
  • A little bland but a lot of fun. My daughter had so much fun looking for the hidden objects along the trail of life size dinosaurs. They had all the popular dinos as well as some more obscure ones. I highly recommend a day trip
  • Really cool little gem especially for a child that has an interest in dinosaurs. The life sized models were really, really neat and the playground just wonderful. All our kids had an awesome time!!
  • Beyond my expectations in every way. I went not really expecting much, but hoping my kid would enjoy it. It turned out to be really good! The dinosaur models are great, the info on the plaques is up to date, and the place itself is well maintained and well worth visiting. There's a picnic area if you want to bring a lunch. It is a touch hard to find, I missed the turn, had to double back, then missed getting to the park itself. You've got to take a one lane unpaved road for half a mile or so to get there, which isn't all that encouraging, but once you're there things are great! I cannot recommend Dinosaur Park enough, my kid loved it and he doesn't love anything.
