As Madison County's first vineyard, the 57-acre farm winery includes a state-of-the-art building which houses a rustic yet chic tasting room and a wine production facility. Within the vineyard a pergola and event center have been built, with an adjoining veranda that overlooks the vines. The staff at Owera looks forward to welcoming patrons for tastings, informative tours, and memorable events. To visit Owera Vineyards on your trip to Cazenovia, use our Cazenovia trip builder site .

The location of this winery is beautiful. The landscape is lush, green and very inviting. You can see the rows and rows of the vines. Outside sitting is a must just to take in the beautiful view. Very... more »

I love this place! Exquisite music, wine, food, ambiance, and a wonderful staff. From my first visit, I was warmly welcomed and treated like family. I recommend the adventure of one of their flights of wine- the bar staff will help you choose the right wines for your pallet and the price is incredibly reasonable. The menu has something for everyone- a brilliant combination of rich comfort foods and eclectic, healthy dishes. Even though I'm on the other side of the country at the moment, I was able to call in and pick up the check for some dear friends who were dining there tonight- a service that few places would be kind enough to facilitate on a busy Saturday night! Owera nails it in every way. Definitely worth the beautiful country drive. :)

How do I give a nagative star? The hostess askes us to wait in Adirondack chairs while the waiter cleaned the table to seat us. Long story, the hostess with not the mostess forgot about us. So, we sat ourselves at the only open table that was on level ground, which was filthy. We waited another 15 mins before the waitress acknowledged we were there, probably another 10 before the table was cleaned. We finally put our order in with the waitress (nice girl trying hard). Next, a couple with a small baby came to sit next to us and another party of 3 that had a dog with them. When the dog saw the baby, it lunged at it and dam near took its head off. The dog ended up biting the mothers leg. So that whole ordeal went on. I thought the mother handled it well. But what really irritated me is that with all the other kids walking around and the dog continueing to bark at babies and kids, not only did the 3 people who owned the dog stay there, but the manager of the vineyard didnt make them, or at least the dog leave. I mean im no genius but holy hell. Long story short, we sat waiting for a meal that never came. Turns out our order never got placed. We even had to ask for some water while we sat in the sun and baked... while we watched the dog chow down on patrons, a staff that was lost in the sauce and my wife pointing out that we were there so long waiting that she now has odd tan lines. My advice... the manager should be fired for mismanaging everything, from staff and the dog incident. But hey, at least the dog ate. If you have kids, i wouldnt go here. I heard Empire Brewery is way better.

Wine is absolutely delicious as well as the pizza! Love this place and it's variety of flavors. Had to take a bottle home to my mother. Will return!
