  • Castroville Regiinal park is always kept clean (with help from the public), grass is cut & has nice amenities for the public such as a walking trail, tennis court, basketball court, lifeguard attended swimming pool (when open during summer) & etc. This is an eye-pleasing park worth checking out & starting to have more festive attractions during the year! RVs & tent camping are welcomed. 👍☺
  • Great park, my family had a blast celebrating Easter here. Great grass to just walk barefoot in. The only issue was the pool was closed and don't follow the google directions to get there, it may lead you up an off road mountain that will have your family praying for a safe descent.
  • Very large park perfect for outdoorsmen. On the banks of the Medina river with fishing and swimming. Plenty of picnic tables, 2 Volleyball courts, Decent play area, camping site for tents and RVs, soccer goals and an amphitheater. The Park ranger lives on site. This park is great for hiking with challenging well kept trails in the hills. By far one of the best parks in the state.
  • The park itself is beautiful so is the pool. Although we couldn't get in the pool because of a racist person and I say this because we were the only Hispanics at the pool and the only ones that the rules were I forced with. We had 5 kids with us which we're wearing basketball shorts and they said we couldn't get in because of that which I understand, i know that they might have a good reason why but the rules should be inforced wuth everyone. So we turned around and as we were leaving the kids stop to look at the people in the pool. Well I see a man in a cotton tshirt, so I head back and told the lady why are cotton tshirt allowed in the pool and not basketball shorts? She replied because it was for "sun protection" so I walked away and then I see a man and 2 kids in basketball shorts and I went back and told the lady that I thought it wasn't allowed ? She said that It wasn't true that nobody was wearing basketball shorts when they were.
  • Great place to go for a picnic or any outside event your having. Fun times and good vibes is what i get when i go there beautiful scenery and a river to go swimming in when it gets hot.
