  • Our families were here for Easter.Overall the park is great. Police very engaging and do a good job at enforcing rules. The reason it is not 5 stars is the when you reserve a table, you are suppose to have 10 ft to the left and the right side. The right was good but the left the city was trying to pack in this park and mission accomplished. When you reserve a table on a holiday do not expect to get what you paid for it's just not going to happen. According to policy which is not talked about on your contract the 10 ft rule is thrown out the window. Other than that any other time is great.
  • Wide open spaces with picnic tables all along the perimeter ($5 for a table at the gate). Nice and quiet with plenty of space between tables for some privacy. A couple small playgrounds for the kids and a river running along one side. They also offer RV stations and a campground. Great place for frisbee or flying a kite!
  • I love this park, we have to pay for a table which is kind of messed up but it is worth it to see and feel the open area out if the heated city. I love the small river that's shapes the area and the trail. There is alot of things to do here and it is a fun way to spend time with family.
  • A $10 car fee...? I park in the residental area and walk in (there's three f us)...now it's a $10 entrance fee... Understand your policy before you charge people. They say they won't let me walk in, that I have to drive in with my car and pay or they won't let me in at all. What if 20 of us walk in? How much will you charge us then? Who knows? Just, whatever random amount you can justify? I'm fine with an entrance fee...just say is an entrance fee. Don't say it's a car fee, then turn around and tell me something else later. There's better parks out there that are free.
  • Beautiful place to just pull up and sit next to the river and listen to the water. They also hold a lot of kids sporting events in the park. Be prepared to take mosquito spray, as they come at you in swarms during late evening.
