  • As far as I could tell there are only 2 trails. Very cool view of castle rock. Good workout. Can climb all the way up.
  • What a beautiful spot to hike up two different paths, see the awesome "castle rock" and get some great exercise. We try to hike up often and of course it's great to watch star lighting in December. Gr...  read more »
  • I had knee replacement surgery last October and had a photo of the castle rock as my incentive to work hard in post surgery therapy. My husband and I climbed the rock on a Saturday in July. We did the...  read more »
  • Great place to walk with a pavilion to have a picnic and well maintained port-a-potty, first time I've been in one that smelled Good, and it was wheelchair accessible.
  • Fantastic vantage point to view Castle Rocks first fireworks show.
  • Fun hike. Fantastic views of Castle Rock.
  • Nice hike of about 1.4 miles up and back with a rise in elevation of 370 feet. The view is worth the hike. Be aware the summit trail is more challenging than the perimeter trail and i would not recommend it for small children. Covered pavilion with 8 metal picnic tables. No running water or electric. There is one picnic table at the top of the trail. There is a plastic outhouse which seem to be ubiquitous in Colorado. No facilities at the top. Surprisingly busy at times, parking lot fills up regularly. There is street parking and trail access on the back side of the formation.
  • Home sweet home.
