  • Great for kids and adults. Lots of fossils and everything you could expect at at geological museums.
  • This was just enough to stretch our legs and learn something, too, after driving from Jackson Wyoming to Casper. Very kid friendly, and equally informative for adults. Free, too!
  • This is an exceptional small museum if you are interested in learning more about Wyoming geology - rocks, gems, and minerals. Great displays.

  • We had so much fun. I came with two 7yr. Olds, and a 10 yr. Old. They were able to not only see some cool stuff, they were able to hold fossils, and gems. There are tons of interactive activities. I didn't see any kid NOT having fun here. Best place ever. Oh, and they have the largest wolf mammoth ever found intact.
  • Great place, lots of cool gem stones. Awesome fossils to see. Definitely a place to stop and support. Definitely going back next time in town and it's free! Great educational stop
  • Dee the Mammoth! Very knowledgeable staff, interesting talks, hands on activities, fun and informative/educational for all ages.
  • The Tate is an awesome, informative building. They also have amazing teachers and staff, such as Russel Hawley, whom I know personally.
  • Little museum, but full of material and the displays were very informative. Good fit a short visit, but it was worth the detour in our road trip.
