  • This was just enough to stretch our legs and learn something, too, after driving from Jackson Wyoming to Casper. Very kid friendly, and equally informative for adults. Free, too!
  • This is an exceptional small museum if you are interested in learning more about Wyoming geology - rocks, gems, and minerals. Great displays.
  • Had a nephew in town that loves science and dinosaurs. We had a great time, good gift shop to keep memories of the trip
  • The Tate is an awesome, informative building. They also have amazing teachers and staff, such as Russel Hawley, whom I know personally.
  • Great little museum. And free! We spend a few hours here while stuck in Casper wirh the interstate closed. Docents were very helpful and interactive even answering my 4 yos questions (over and over again!).
  • Little museum, but full of material and the displays were very informative. Good fit a short visit, but it was worth the detour in our road trip.
  • If you are ANYWHERE near Casper, WY this is a MUST SEE place to go. Make sure you meet Russell and ask LOTS of questions. It's free, so spend some money in the gift shop and support them - once you've been here there's no doubt you'll understand why.
  • Free. A small diversion for about an hour. There is little area for kids to dig and play.
