  • There are a lot of exhibits for kids to look at. There were a lot of "Wyoming" dinosaurs. It is attached to the Casper College. The people at the desk were friendly and knowledgeable.  more »
  • We have been there a lot, they have a huge number of dinosaur bones including a mammoth, and a T Rex display. A lot of kid activities are also found here  more »
  • The Tate is a "hidden treasure" in Casper. There are a lot of dinosaur bones under the dirt in Wyoming and the Tate Museum has a great variety to look at. I was lucky enough to connect with a voluntee...  more »

  • We had so much fun. I came with two 7yr. Olds, and a 10 yr. Old. They were able to not only see some cool stuff, they were able to hold fossils, and gems. There are tons of interactive activities. I didn't see any kid NOT having fun here. Best place ever. Oh, and they have the largest wolf mammoth ever found intact.
  • Great place, lots of cool gem stones. Awesome fossils to see. Definitely a place to stop and support. Definitely going back next time in town and it's free! Great educational stop
  • Dee the Mammoth! Very knowledgeable staff, interesting talks, hands on activities, fun and informative/educational for all ages.
  • The Tate is an awesome, informative building. They also have amazing teachers and staff, such as Russel Hawley, whom I know personally.
  • Little museum, but full of material and the displays were very informative. Good fit a short visit, but it was worth the detour in our road trip.
