  • Beautiful corner park, flowers and landscaping, cute little town. Love the sound the wind chime makes. Stopped with a friend driving across the country, so glad we did. Many "world's largest" to walk ...  more »
  • The windchimes are beautiful, interesting, and so cool to visit. Plus it is free! Lots of cool pictures and lots of other things to check out while around the chimes.
  • Worlds largest Wind Chime is a fun place to visit. The sounds of the wind chime is mellow and pretty! Takes real muscles to make it chime. Beautiful landscapes!

  • In the town of Casey, IL, an artist crafts numerous "world's largest ______" exhibits. The whole town has built a little roadside tourist economy around exhibiting his works in permanent locations across town. The stop is well worth it, with all the installations being free and easy to find. The wind chimes are massive, and sit across from city hall. Across from it is the world's largest rocking chair. After giving the chimes a ring, take a look.
  • Charming! Impressive wind chime, beautiful garden area, great tea, sandwich and gift shop on premises (Whitling Whimsy--open 7-2 or so in winter, 7-7 in summer, closed Sunday, so plan accordingly). Behind the wind chime is the workshop where world's largest items are made--this is cool to see also. Many other World's Largest (Golf Tee, Rocking Chair, Mailbox, Pitchfork, Wooden Shoes, Knitting Needles, Crochet Hook) and large things (ruler, token, bicycles, pencil, rocking horse, bird cage, giant ear of corn) to see while you're in the area, along with other cool stores (Casey Candy Depot, The Yarn Studio, Pretty Petals and More, Back on the Rack, and many more) and other restaurants (Richards Farm, La Hacienda, etc) with more businesses and attractions coming all the time.
  • Such a cute little tourist spot! Plus, you get to ring the chime. It's awesome.
  • Casey is a town which has decided on its specialty, with no fewer than 9 "world's biggest" attractions. Worth a photo stop and a quick snack purchase to support their efforts.
  • Great little town! Many "World's Largest" attractions throughout the city. Highly recommend stopping and not that far off the highway.
