  • I come here to swim with my toddler all the time. There's a nice playground for big and little kids. The beach is sandy and has nice shaded picnic tables, and the water gradually gets deeper, which is great for the wee one. Today was our first time hiking. We walked the outer loop trail along the inlet that leads to songo lock. The trail was nice, marked by blue diamond blazes, and had a nice little offshoot to a small sandy spot on the shore. Looking forward to coming back to explore more trails.
  • Love camping here. Nice and quiet. 2 beaches on site. Plus state park beach up road. Hiking biking swimming camping. What more could you want
  • It's a beautiful spot of Maine. Not the biggest beaches but it is nice seeing mountains while enjoying the beach. Not a place to go if you are looking for solitude in nature
  • Nice place for camping but the sites were too close. The facilities and beaches were both very clean. The campground is tucked away far from the road so there is no noise from traffic.
  • It is easy enough to pick up supplies and snacks in town. Lake Sebago ended up being an unexpected stop, and I'm glad for it! We needed a place to rest for the night and we ended up staying another day! Clean beach, great for couples or family. We showed up and checked in the same day in the middle of summer, no reservations. This was a fantastic place to snorkel and lounge on the beach. Facilities were all maintained and clean. I enjoyed how they had a stall to wash dishes. There is a playground and place for volleyball. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We camped in out tent and found the site easy to find. It was not very private, but you can't expect much at a campground! Do not bring out of state firewood, instead you can purchase on the honor system from nearby houses.
