  • It is easy enough to pick up supplies and snacks in town. Lake Sebago ended up being an unexpected stop, and I'm glad for it! We needed a place to rest for the night and we ended up staying another day! Clean beach, great for couples or family. We showed up and checked in the same day in the middle of summer, no reservations. This was a fantastic place to snorkel and lounge on the beach. Facilities were all maintained and clean. I enjoyed how they had a stall to wash dishes. There is a playground and place for volleyball. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We camped in out tent and found the site easy to find. It was not very private, but you can't expect much at a campground! Do not bring out of state firewood, instead you can purchase on the honor system from nearby houses.
  • The state park at Sebago Lake is a great place to visit. Spend some time on the hiking trails on your way to the beach. Or use the best boat launch on the lake and enjoy a day on the water. Only $10 to launch. Tons of parking. The launch is in a cove on the songo river. The wind is limited and the ramps are great.
  • Went here every summer as a child. Lots of great memories of camping here with friends and family. Some of the cleanest water I have ever been in. Beutifull views and always very clean.
  • Older guy that works there was all put out because we arrived after 7. Gates close at 8. He stood there and waited me to get out of car and told me " ya got about 20 minutes" . It was 7:15. Oh and I am disabled. THE NEXT thing he says is," do you think you can get down there and back and then drive car to gate before 8". Rude much. I said, uh yeah. He continued to harass. I just wanted a picnic for 30 min. Love the lake and land, ruined by grumpy old man.
  • One of the most beautiful places on Earth!
