  • But, it was worth going anyway. We were stopped at mile 16 because of 60 mile an hour winds. Was really cold up there but very enjoyable.
  • A perfect place for lovers. It is worth renting a car and stop to take pictures. In winter the landscape gets more charming.

  • I'm not a fan of heights, but I was able to do this drive. There are parts where it looks like you drive off the edge of the cliff, but it's doable. Take your time and be sure to have a half tank of g...  more »
  • Pikes peak was amazing!! The views from the top and slob. The drive was breathtaking and scary! Must drive slow and with a steady hand, but definitely worth it! Take a jacket, it's cold and windy at the top! Make sure you have plenty of room on your camera because you'll get some great shots.
  • I absolutely loved going! I went with my son, the drive is absolutely amazing! For 2 adults it was $24 to enter the park. I would not suggest eating there, we had cheeseburgers and they were so gross and for 2 people it was $21 to eat a cheeseburger combo meal. I would definitely recommend going. We also saw wild life it was awesome!
  • I did not go all the way to the top. If you use the password, "north slope", you only pay 1/3 the price and can visit / fish 3 reservoirs: crystal creek, south catamount, and north catamount. Beautiful lakes, north catamount is flies and lures only. The fish are very easy to catch, 12 to 14 inch rainbow trout are the most common.
  • The views are spectacular. However they really need to open the park earlier. That's the only frustrating part about it. Ranger was extremely helpful
  • Worth the trip--at least once. The top is surreal. Easy way for anyone to experience a14er.
