  • This park would be a lot better if they enforced quiet hours. Stayed on a holiday weekend and it was a zoo. Facilities are pretty good. The tent camping area E is not motorcycle friendly, so if you go by bike, demand an RV spot or keep riding. I think I would give this another star for off-season visits.
  • The pulled pork was absolutely fabulous! A beautiful location and inside was like coming home after a long day! We were lucky enough to be there while a live band was playing. There was singing and clapping from the crowd. We were traveling and the staff was kind enough to help us make sure we could get our leftovers home safe! Eating the pork as I type this! Please stop in, you will not be disappointed!!
  • Cove lake has some pretty good fishing and a rather large campground. If you are planning a stay at the campground, the bath houses are rundown. They are old and not well maintained or well cleaned. Some of the sites are short and crammed together. For the camping sites on one side of the loop, the sun is relentless in the summer. We will visit Cove Lake again, but we'll most likely use the bath and shower in our camper and book a good site in advance.
  • Nice campground. Lots of trails. Can't swim in lake but there is a nice huge pool. Restaurant very close by is good if a bit slow when busy.
  • Great park to stop and relax a little. Plenty of nice spots to put up a hammock too. 😁
