  • We live about 5 miles from this park. It's a small, but nice place. We've had birthdays here, church gatherings.  more »
  • We visited the park in hopes of finding a few trails and off the path fun. However, we didn't do our research very well, it's a day use park designed for recreations. The lake is beautiful and it has ...  more »

  • This park would be a lot better if they enforced quiet hours. Stayed on a holiday weekend and it was a zoo. Facilities are pretty good. The tent camping area E is not motorcycle friendly, so if you go by bike, demand an RV spot or keep riding. I think I would give this another star for off-season visits.
  • The pulled pork was absolutely fabulous! A beautiful location and inside was like coming home after a long day! We were lucky enough to be there while a live band was playing. There was singing and clapping from the crowd. We were traveling and the staff was kind enough to help us make sure we could get our leftovers home safe! Eating the pork as I type this! Please stop in, you will not be disappointed!!
  • Cove Lake feels more like a community park than a state park, but it's still a nice place to go for a picnic and a nice walk around the lake or to do a little fishing. There is a connection to the Cumberland Trail here too though, so you can hop on here and do some hiking too.
  • Scenic views are spectacular! Peaceful & calm get away. Awesome trip for the whole family. Camping, fishing, boating, picnic pavilions & grills for outdoor cooking, playgrounds, tennis court, basketball, nature trail, lookout tower, restaraunts & more. Best hotels are Hampton Inn & More overlooking beautiful sights in every direction. A short drive in any direction will take you to more of the areas awesome locations & endless family fun and or a quiet evening by the lakes all for the nature buff, and so much more. A nice place to visit!
  • Cove Lake State Park is a beautiful place for the family to Camp, picnic or just have a wonderful family reunion, there used to be really great fishing in Cove Lake State Park but it is somewhat sporadic nowadays the scenery is simply breathtaking and on par with any state park you could find in this great state of Tennessee and is only a few miles away from Caryville wonderful place for ATV riding, camping, hiking...Etc.
