  • I used to love Cary down center, however recently it has been going down hill fast, they are losing a lot of their good stores, they lost macy's, sears, and recently express. They need to do something...  read more »
  • This was my first time visiting the county of Cary and going to Dave and Busters. I had a drink that glows and was able to keep the glow cube and my husband was able yo keep his glass from his drink. ...  read more »
  • This is more or less a hangout for teens from Cary High School... If it wasn't for Dave and Busters the Cary Town Center would be a total bust. Has to run by this week to get a few things from JCPenne...  read more »
  • This is arguably the best mall in the Triangle area. (A case could be made for Crabtree.) They have an Apple store, a Microsoft store, lots of clothes shops, and the other stuff associated with malls. They have a good food court, and a large outdoor section with a bunch of sites, too. There's also a movie theater and a bunch of good restaurants.
  • Average mall for the area. Clearly can tell the mall population is dying out. This mall has a few unique stores that keep it around. My favorite mall of the triangle. 3 stars only because of the number of closed stores and the crazy stores attached to it that draw a bad crowd.
  • Decided to edit my last review. I'm sad that my once favorite mall is like a ghost town. Am I/you looking forward to the coming changes?? No need to shop here right now though. Too many phone/gadget and foreign jewelry stores. The Mitchell's Spa can't keep my stylists or anybody etc. Could Dave and Busters have brought in an entirely different crowd? Sometimes I do not even feel safe. While walking odd men are sitting on benches staring and watching women/girls every other day. Approaching them awkwardly. Harassing them. It has become a hang out for bums, beggars and thieves. I've even witnessed thieves grabbing merchandise, running out, jumping into get away cars right outside the doors.(multiple times) WHAT IS GOING ON? The grounds are not maintained like before. Parking lots are trashed. Mall halls are dark and empty. Sometimes reeking aroma of what smells like sewage. Air conditioning is hardly on (conserving? or broken?) Bathrooms are disgusting. Big departments stores left, some chain stores left, Hal-mark left, Alibaba left, Beyoutiful Butterfly left, Apricot Lane left and so many more. Some stores just changed into outlet stores with cheap stuff. Mall security and mall employees look miserable. One good thing is it's still not crowded. Unfortunately I have no need to return. My original review 1 year or so ago: Not crowded! Great parking! Easy in easy out. Its a little outdated and needs a facelift over all its enjoyable. Great for families. Personally LOVE the new consignment store! I drop off a bag of clothes that I don't wear anymore and take a nice walk, grab coffee or lunch and then pick up my cash from the clothing sale. By far my favorite mall to shop. So glad to see Cary Towne Center is changing for the good.
  • I think that the best word to describe this mall is "tired." It has a lot of vacancies and there isn't a lot happening there most days. My son and I went there on a warm day to hunt Pokemon and it was a fine place for that. I don't think that I would do much serious shopping there, but it does have a basic food court and a few of the regular stores that you'd expect. The carousel is fun for little kids.
  • This place was pretty good back in the day. It's slowly dying though. Many places are out of business are moving. Still not a bad place to shop if you know exactly what you are going for.
