  • Large casino. Has a mixture of old and new slots. Has all of the table games.. Even has a "cloak" room.. A good place to go but there are better places. This one is the most complete however..
  • Good food and fun place to visit. good entertainment on the weekends and I've been told the Casino will get bigger!
  • I stopped in here for their famous Awful-Awful Burger at the coffee shop restaurant. The burger and service were great. I would return. The service was top-notch. The busboy and waitress both were ent...  more »

  • It's not the fanciest casino there ever was, and it's usually pretty smoky, but the dealers are always enjoyable to play with and the clientele is /usually/ also friendly, though I've witnessed them being dealt with swiftly if not. Not a bad spot to start and end the monthly wine walk!
  • So they say they the community is the most important thing to the Nugget since starting to serve them over 60 years ago. Since the new owners took over the place recently, each year the experience has diminished dramatically each time. This year tops it off. We are staying with a large group at the city center hotel owned by the Nugget and waited 45 minutes to check in at 10 pm Friday night while the lady discussed rate differences between the Internet and them and they would have to fight the company on the Internet, no I'll be right with you, or maybe let me get the lady in the rear office to help you , once she did come out and we thought finally we can check in, as she started helping us after 45 minutes she started to get involved in the dispute with the other customer. So to top it off, we as a group with reservations as usual for the last ten years that I've known of went to dinner at 7 pm. All spread out out at different tables. Why? That becomes apparent later. We order our food and 2 hours later after every one at the table received their food at different times and have finished their dinner, the waitress says my dinner was given to the other large table. We will have your dinner in 4 minutes. 15 minutes later and no food we asked for a manager. After 10 minutes of waiting for the manager we decided to leave and noticed the waitress was carrying my plate. No thanks I lost my appetite. I later talked to the manager of the casino who was extremely nice and professional and explained the other group was actually the owners of the Nugget. I don't think she knew my dinner was given to them. In conclusion the past few years since the Nugget got new owners the service ,professionalism and management is very poor. Unfortunate I see no improvement in the future since I have given the new owners the benefit of the doubt over and over and it has become over the top the most terrible experience ever.
  • I came in and sat at my favorite machine Alien. Two youngsters came up from behind me and and demanded to see my identification. They could have been my grand kids.why do you want to see my id? I'm 64! They acted like little stormtroopers who suddenly have authority over everything. It didn't say security on the fronts of their shirts. I didn't know who they were. I protested which is my right as an American and they said I became violent which I did not so they could kick me out. When I gamble I like to be left alone in my misery. The establishment told me that I would have to come in to complain. Yeah!Right!. They made me cash out then go to a machine that didn't work so they marched me over to the one that did. Stood over my shoulder while I got my money then marched me all the way back to the other side. I started getting worried about the two so I pulled out my tech flashlight and put it on strobe. They said what did you pay for that? $ 2.50? When I was outside they continued to follow me. I stopped and said stay where you are. Don't come any closer. I've been a patron there for 20 years and have never been treated that way before. They say it's a new policy to card everyone now but there aren't any signs or mail coming about it. This happened 2 months ago and I haven't been in since nor do I plan to. I've spent alot of money in this place over two decades. They won't get another dime from me.
  • The casino isn't too bad but don't bother going to the Eatery or Angelina's for dinner. Had the worst possible experience @ Angelina's last night. The outside looks remodeled but the inside is just the old steakhouse with old booths and tables. It took over a hour to bring out our dinners. My wife's Chicken Picata had so much Garlic that it was inedible and my Chicken Parmesan was rubbery and bland. We had planned to have desert but we ran out of time to make it to the comedy show. Funniest part was not the comedy show but when the waiter had to check with the chef on what a Caprese Salad was...
  • Fun clean place. Good at getting your drinks to you fast.
