  • I think this Pier is a bit of a hidden gem on the island. Less touristy than Kure Pier, it is less crowded and thus has a bit less wear and tear than it's sister jetty. Also, it seems to have undergon...  more »

  • We are vacationing in Carolina beach and went to eat at the High Tide, but it was closed. We ended up eating at the pier, and 1 lady that took our order was very RUDE!! The food was decent and view excellent, but very unfriendly as ordering. I was so shocked that I just stood there a moment looking (10 sec) and the cashier hollered " what do you want on burger", very rude.
  • Best view on the island! Awesome family owned pier with food and a bar on the top level.
  • The people that work here are terrible. Nasty attitudes and everything is cash. No atm, no debit. Also trying to get a parking permit is a nightmare and we didn't even get to go on the pier before I got fed up with it.
  • Great views, cold beer and people watching are the main recreational activities here. We stopped here after leaving Freeman Park for some shade, rest and beverages.
  • Decent food, 10 dollar fishing passes, bar upstairs, 3 dollar beers.
