  • I'm from Paso Robles and visit many wineries and tasting rooms. Scheid is with out a doubt the best in Carmel. The staff and the wines were top notch.  more »
  • We came here for an afternoon tasting and were not disappointed! This has to be one of the best (if not the best) tasting room in town. With all the different varietals, there's something for everyone...  more »
  • Pop in and enjoy a tasting. A great way to spend some time....Start with the whites and work your way thru the reds.  more »

  • Their reserve wines are top notch, five star all the way (particularly the claret). Their non-reserve wines are a little hit or miss. Nothing is bad but a lot of it is only okay. This four stars and not five.
  • Average wines from mass production winery. Honestly we were hoping they would be great but sorry to report they weren't.
  • Best out of three tasting rooms my wife and I visited in Carmel. Pretty good wines, priced around $20-$30 a bottle. For reds, they specialize in blends such as GSM and Syrah. Dog-friendly!
  • Had to give a shout-out to Eden. Made our first time doing a wine tasting at Carmel one of the most memorable tasting room experiences.
  • Great tasting room and great staff. Their wines are very good and reasonably priced for the Monterey region. Their tasting room stays open late while others in the area close fairly early. It seems to be a happening spot because I always see it crowded. If you're wine tasting in Carmel, you should definitely stop here.
