  • This is a fun course -- a little like two different courses in one. We love going past the hotel winding up the hill to the back nine. This course is worth a visit.  more »
  • Carmel Valley GC is just beautiful - views of mountains and vineyards and many variations. Was a little windy when I went which made the course even tougher. The staff was great - took good care of us...  more »
  • Really enjoyed this golf course, well taken care of, beautiful scenery and views, the downhill holes were unreal. Overpriced at 180, but the 95 dollar twilight rate was WELL worth it.  more »

  • Our stay at Carmel Ranch has been absolutely amazing. This is obvious as soon as you start driving up the hill towards the Lodge. The view is breathtaking and come sunset, it gets even more stunning. The rooms are perfect and have a very home-y feel to them and the beds are comfortable. All the amenities were free (although I do not know if that is the case for every room) so that was a nice plus. The amenities were also above par containing snacks that are more "premium" feat. Milanos, Cliff bars, etc. There's several fire pits located around the grounds that they light from 6-10pm which helps when it gets slightly chilly late at night. The grounds also feature four decently sized pools, two of which are adult only. However, they do not go very deep, only 4-4.5 feet deep. The grounds is very large as it is also contains a full sized golf course with each hole scattered around the grounds, but they have a 24/7 shuttle service that you can text and they'll send a golf cart that'll arrive in 5-10 minutes.
  • This resort is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the front desk staff are phenomenal. The reason I can't give 5 stars the way I'd like, though, is the terrible service we received eating at the bar in the resort's main restaurant. It took almost 3 hours to have 2 cocktails, an appetizer, and 2 entrees. The bartenders were far more interested in socializing with each other and the other servers than they were in actually doing their jobs. One of the bartenders was even standing behind the bar eating pizza, which I found extremely unprofessional. I would strongly recommend that they all receive re-training ASAP. Such a lovely resort shouldn't be sullied by only a couple of lazy employees.
  • We attended a yoga class by the instructor Davia and it was lovely. We hiked to the top of horse shoe trail and had the class on top of a platform. The facilities and staff were amazing.
  • Lovely atmosphere and staff. Our room had a beautiful view! All the activities like archery and the Bee Experience were so much fun! Free s'mores by the fire at night? Come on!
  • Amazing Place to stay!!!! Loved everything about the Carmel Valley Ranch. TRX class w Vanessa was just what I was looking for during my vacation. So many activities to choose from and property is beautiful. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly!!!
