  • Back to visit after 18 months or so. Lots of changes and updates since last visit. All employees super nice, casino floor very open, lots of room to move about. Lots of restrooms as well.
  • We stayed close to this place, they offered relatively cheap eats. Some of the stuff they had was kinda good, other stuff terrible. The prime rib was ok but we had a couple different pork dishes that we...  read more »
  • Wide open casino format. Slot machines abound here. Very limited number of table games for blackjack and other card games. Sunday night had $5.00 and $10.00 minimum tables. Blackjack pays 3 to 2, inst...  read more »
  • Overall I can't complain. Had to wait to get into room. I told the reservations gal that my wife recently had a stroke and we needed to get her in a room. She found us a handicap room that was ready. Really didn't seem like one. Only complaint with room was the tub/shower had no non-skid on the floor. It was really slippery and someone could fall easily. Had a great meal at the steak house. Worth every penny for a good steak.
  • DISGUSTING HOTEL!!!! If I could give negative stars I would!!! Check in was 4pm, the room still was not ready!! Our room is non-smoking and my eyes are burning it smells so bad in here like cigarettes, and I'm not a sensitive person. All of the channels are adult channels, you have to pay for kid channels, and it is can hear everything going on in the hallway! NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN!!!! YUK!
  • We are only staying here for one night... And for good reason. My complaints are as follows 1. Our room and just about the whole building reeks of cigarettes and wifi is pretty rough 2. Our room is not supposed to be anything fancy but there are a lot of stains on the floors 3. There were only about 5 black jack tables vs maybe 500+ slots... not a very good ratio of things to do 4. The large hot tub had been shut down since we got here. I've seen a lot of reports on here about problems with them.
  • Black Bear Casino is awesome. It is always clean. The staff are courteous and kind. And I can at least break even and if I do walk out broke it is because I spent the whole day there gambling. I also always get a mocha from the caribou coffee in Black Bear Casino.
  • Some friends and I stopped here on our way home from up north camping for the lunch buffet and I cannot express enough how dissapointing and disgusting it was. We waited in line for 45min-1hr to get seated.. not because the dining area was full but due to the hostesses taking their sweet time. Once we finally did get seated our table was not very clean either. Once our original drinks were ordered we did not get offered any more refills, and the food was burnt, overcooked, or was bland. One person in our party got some spicy sausage with onions and peppers and discovered it was honey and syrup flavored sausage most likely from the brunch before. 100% not worth your time or money..even if it is $7-8 worth.
