  • This is a very good course but the management cares little for the player experience. The first time we played we had to skip the 18th hole because our dog had been alone for 6 hours due to pace of pl...  read more »
  • Convenient location in Carlsbad with great ocean views from the Club House and Golf Course. Lego Land is a stone's throw away, across the street. The restaurant offers a terrific Sunday brunch. Meetin...  read more »
  • Went to the golf course. Those who don't know (and foreign) and were hesitant to go around for one course chosen, but at the check-in & start two or more teams let me also good, like I was turned down. Are there vast course alone was around 3, 4 hole one of sad. The Hall before the three teams invited and join us for the around together. Even though English so everyone enjoys playing good 10 minutes. Large course is very beautiful, green is a tough course. But you guys were friendly and attentiveness.

  • Playing here is great but the dinner food is horrible. 18 dollars for a ribeye that looked like 2 ounces of beef jerky doused in sauce. The salmon was overlooked and the bed for it was over salted. Finally, the ahi poke was frozen fish on a stale fried tortilla. Server did everything he could to make it better but no way he could do everything. Like I said....the course is great. A bit over priced but good challenge. Stay away from restaurant. It being empty on a Sunday evening should tell you all you need to know.
  • What a wonderfully designed course. So many great holes and shots to play. I could play this place every day for a year and it would still be fun and enjoyable. Even if I do lose a few balls to the hazards or out of bounds. Just the drive on the cart path was worth the price. I played a twilight tee time. Grouped our twosome with a single and we all had a great afternoon of golf. I'm sure there will be people who had bad days or lost a dozen balls and will be upset. But I find I finish with a smile regardless of my score here. I hope you get to play a round here and feel that same magic. If you're one of those low handicaps or scratch guys who have the long ball and need to get clearance from air traffic control. Playing from the blacks/tips will probably have you feel like a kid again when you clear those big ravines or the valley. Just watching people smash driver over it makes me smile. The air traffic control part is a nod to the Carlsbad airport, which is very close to the course and you'll likely catch a few flights leaving Carlsbad fly overhead out to the ocean. Which you can also see. The views here have to be witnessed to appreciate how amazing they are. This is a long, challenging but fun course at a fair price for what you get. The pro shop is friendly. I love the new fobs they went with for the range balls. It's always comfortable going in and talking to the pro shop and getting advice that is well headed. The food here is excellent. The staff here really greet you with a smile, there hasn't been anything I've had here that I didn't like. Another chance to enjoy the great views offered here. Another place where the staff make your experience enjoyable. Don't let the price deter you from a great day. Once you're driving up to that next tee box and breathing fresh ocean air and possibly catching glimpses of the wildlife in the nature preserve. It really is a beautiful place. The many bridges or crossings which gives the course it's name give the course a unique feel that is often understated by patrons. Be mindful of out of bounds. Take your drop. Don't go in there to retrieve a mis hit shot please. If you are worried about losing a precious ProV1 or other premium ball of your own choosing, please play one you're more comfortable losing on those shots where hazards or out of bounds are in play. You'd have had a great round if you finish with the same ball. That's a feat as good as par when you're done on 18 and pocketing the same one you tee'd up on 1. There are snakes, predatory birds, rabbits, and many other creatures that consider that area home. No ball is worth getting bit, stung, or destroying a habitat during a round of golf. I left this part last. Because I wanted to leave it out. But I think this is an amazing course. And we should all be responsible for it staying this way. Enjoy your round. Have a nice meal. Meet some new friends. I think you'll find the price is well worth the experience.
  • Well kept, great greens. Some staff were obnoxious telling each group to "play faster" but all others were fantastic. Would definitely come again
  • This place makes for beautiful pictures.. Good/ decent food , cool views, friendly staff
  • It's a beautiful course. But there are some annoying nuances such as poor layout on some holes (non adjacent greens & next tee) and the nature preserve eating balls!
