  • Wonderful area with public access. Tidal so it cleans out regularly. No swimming allowed but one can fish. Halibut caught in winter back in the shallows. SUP, boat and jet ski rentals near hi-way and ...  more »
  • What a fun way to get outside and have some exercise to boot. We had 3 families with 8 kids and 4 water toys - 2 kayaks and 2 SUPs. That provided enough seats for all the kids whenever they wanted. Th...  more »
  • My husband and I went for our anniversary and had so much fun! Would highly recommend the waverunners, but they also have stand-up paddleboards and kayaks.

  • Me and my family went down there on our vacation. It was great! Low prices, and the staff is really nice. I especially loved the water skis. My family rented two waterskis and switched off every 10 minutes. It was perfect.
  • Cool "on the lake" feel in the middle of San Diego. Went kayaking here on a date at sunset. Perfect.
  • I purchased on Groupon... We had so much fun..The staff was just GREAT!!! They guys giving you the equipment have great tips... Love it will be going back!
  • We came to the Lagoon because we had purchased a discounted kayak rental we wanted to use. It wasn't very crowded, but the area was a little dirty and poorly kept up. There is hardly any beach to speak of as the majority of the waterfront is dedicated to the rental business that's set up shop here. We did enjoy the kayaking and paddle boarding, but a 2 hour rental was more than we needed and we were ready to go shortly after the first hour. I would recommend this for someone looking to try out paddle boarding, waverunners, kayaking, etc. for the first time in a very low pressure, safe environment, but it isn't the best place to go to simply spend a day at the beach.
  • Cool place to hang out with friends and family. Areas are sectioned off for swimming, boating, water bicycle, paddle board, jet ski, and tubing. Staff members were young and might have had a factor in the unorganized rentals. Once we got are jet ski it was a great ride on the water. The boat tubing was also a 10/10 experience with a driver that knows how to create waves. No extra charge for his driving skills and comes with the rental of the boat.
